Motion of the Lotion
A Middle-Eastern orchestral/EDM fusion track that accidentally summoned a sand-based deity. If your furniture starts vibrating or you feel compelled to start a cult, that's on you.

Behind the Song
"Motion of the Lotion" started as an attempt to write a Middle-Eastern orchestral/EDM fusion track and ended with what can only be described as accidentally summoning a sand-based deity. If your furniture starts vibrating or you feel compelled to start a cult, that's on you, not me.
The track layers traditional Middle Eastern scales and percussion over a driving electronic backbone, building a hypnotic groove that feels simultaneously ancient and futuristic. The fusion doesn't try to sand down either genre's edges - it lets the orchestral and electronic elements collide head-on and sorts through the wreckage.
The result is six minutes of desert mysticism filtered through a sound system that probably violates several noise ordinances. The most rhythmically addictive track on the album.
